The "C" in "More C" is a lunate sigma, standing for ϲπουδαιοϲ (Ancient Greek: spoudaios)

More C

= More Spoudaios

= Spoudaioteros

Spoudaios

"As applied to men or laws or cities, as it often is, this word signifies instances of each that are serious about being what they are. So a spoudaios man is someone who is serious about being a man, or someone who takes being a man seriously enough to acquire the virtues proper to a man. Likewise, spoudaios laws are laws that are serious in being laws, or laws that the legislator has laid down with sufficient seriousness as to make them do what laws are supposed to do, namely lead the citizens towards virtue."
